Refund Policy

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

  • Service not initiated or processed
  • Duplicate payment for the same service
  • Clear error in service processing by California Tag Renewal

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Services already processed by the California DMV
  • User-initiated cancellations after service processing has begun
  • Incomplete or incorrect information provided by the user
  • DMV rejection due to user-related issues

Refund Process

To request a refund, users must:

  • Submit a written refund request via email
  • Provide complete transaction details
  • Explain the reason for the refund request
  • Allow up to 14 business days for refund review

Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed as follows:

  • Refunded to the original payment method
  • Exclude original processing fees
  • May take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement

Exceptions and Discretion

California Tag Renewal reserves the right to:

  • Evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis
  • Deny refunds that do not meet specified criteria
  • Modify this refund policy without prior notice
